Experience Mark Ornstein practices commercial transactional law and commercial litigation. Before becoming a shareholder in KPSOS in 1995, Mr. Ornstein was a partner with a law firm in Winter Park, Florida. He concentrates his practice in the representation of automotive manufacturers, new and independent used car dealerships, and vendors serving the automotive market. His practice includes transactional services for purchasers and sellers of automotive dealerships; dealership legal compliance audits; dealer franchise disputes; and commercial and contract litigation. Mr. Ornstein represents his clients in all phases of negotiations, closings, administrative hearings, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. His litigation experience includes State and Federal practice in Florida and throughout the United States, and he is a certified circuit court mediator. He has presented seminars in cooperation with the Florida Attorney Generals Office in a joint effort to better serve and protect the automotive industry. He is an annual sponsor of the educational breakfast hosted at the National Automotive Dealers Association convention. Mr. Ornstein has developed significant business contacts in China, which has allowed him to assist his clients in business ventures in this rapidly emerging market.
